  15. This RFC presents an architecture for inter-domain policy routing
  16. (IDPR).  The objective of IDPR is to construct and maintain routes,
  17. between source and destination administrative domains, that provide
  18. user traffic with the requested services within the constraints
  19. stipulated for the domains transited.  The IDPR architecture is
  20. designed to accommodate an internetwork containing tens of thousands
  21. of administrative domains with heterogeneous service requirements and
  22. restrictions.

  24. This is now a Proposed Standard Protocol.
  25.  
  26. This RFC specifies an IAB standards track protocol for the Internet
  27. community, and requests discussion and suggestions for improvements.
  28. Please refer to the current edition of the "IAB Official Protocol
  29. Standards" for the standardization state and status of this protocol.
